Remote Parent Support
Remote parent training sessions are designed to help you as a parent or care giver learn effective ways to improve your child's skills and promote optimal development. We utilize parent training programs focused on research-based methods, such as behaviorally based strategies. Additionally, we address generalization and maintenance of skills as well as functional skills for parents of youth with ASD. Parent training sessions are geared towards your childs individual needs. By participating in ABA services through parent training, you can increase the likelihood that you will receive numerous benefits for yourself, your child, and your family. We have 27 lessons at this time, adding more as available. Each remote training session takes approximately 2 hours. Certificates are provided for completion of these trainings.
Remote Psychology Parent Coaching
Navigating the intricate terrain of parenthood is undeniably one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys. However, this transformative role doesn't come with a manual. In our tailored parent coaching sessions, we recognize that each family is unique, and we strive to offer personalized support. Working together with a Canadian Certified Counsellor, under Psychologist supervision, we will listen to your needs and/or struggles, helping you work on the individual issues you are having as a parent. We will seamlessly integrates both behavior modification techniques and research-based tools to assist you in creating an environment where your child can truly flourish.
Psychology parent coaching is covered by most insurance companies.
Respite Services
Ohana IBI/ABA Services will provide caregiver relief with short term support for your child. Respite care can be used occasionally or on a regular basis. You must be a current Ohana client to be eligible for respite support.
EA Support
We offer EA support in the classroom or daycare setting with the facility's approval. With this modified respite service we are able to support your child's academic journey while following daycare or classroom routines.
